Tom Woods Custom Front or Rear Extended Life Splines XB Non CV Driveshaft (4.5 in. Stroke) for Jeep CJs & YJs 1976-95. The advantage of the Extended Life Splines, in addition to having a longer stroke, is that the splines are cut for the full length of the stub shaft. This yields more contact area between the slip yoke & splined stub shaft that will net a longer life. The usable stroke is 4.5 in.. This version, the XC, comes with a dust cover. The XC can only be used on 1.25 in. & 2 Inch diameter driveshaft tubes.
